Dear Listeners,
I apologize that it took so long to get back to you guys about the show. Illness, the holidays and issues behind the scenes all conspired to delay me getting back to you.
I started Route 67 because of my love for Supernatural and my desire to share that love with others. Since starting the show, I have met and talked to a lot of great people. Route 67 became everything I dreamed it would be and I looked forward to it and you being apart of my life for the foreseeable future.
But the funny thing about the future is that it is always in flux and plans with the best intentions do not always work out.
The podcast was supposed to be two friends talking about the show and speculating on the direction it may take. To have that discussion... that firing back of ideas, you really need two people. Unfortunately, it just me now.
I thought long and hard on how I could continue to have the podcast. For a time, I thought I would just go it alone. But the show wouldn't be the same and I wanted to give you guys the best show possible.
So with great sadness, Route 67: A Very Supernatural Podcast has come to an end.
The podcast is over for now, but Route 67 is not going away. Not yet.
Originally, the website was suppose to be an extension of the podcast. A place you could go to get our on-air reviews, our theories, Supernatural news and just hang with out with other fans.
There were a lot of things I wanted to do with website and now that the podcast is not a possibility right now: I can do them.
So Route 67, for the time being, will morph into Route 67: A Very Supernatural Blog.
You will still get my reviews, my outlandish theories, news and everything else you are use to hearing on the show. Just in written form.
I'm still fine-tuning my ideas for the blog and hope to have some new content soon.
The twitter account is still active and I will place updates on there from time to time.
Thanks to everyone who listen to the show. You guys were awesome and hope you will read the blog.
Till next time,
Thena
